Guardians of Trust Edition

DEFINING QUALITY IN A DANGEROUS DECADE

Zurich, StageOne – March 26, 2026

Elias Canetti-Strasse 146, CH-8050 Zürich

About the Conference

The Swiss Testing Day has been a cornerstone of the Swiss QA community since 2006. Over the years, it has grown into a leading platform where test engineerstest automation experts, and technology leaders come together to exchange knowledge, share experiences, and shape the future of swiss software quality.

In 2026, as artificial intelligence continued to reshape our digital world, the role of QA entered a critical phase. The conference focused on the question of whether we guide AI, or are guided by it.

Under the theme of becoming Guardians of Trust in an AI-driven future, Swiss Testing Day 2026 challenged participants to look beyond tools and frameworks, and to embrace a broader responsibility for quality.

The program explored the frontiers of Human-Centered AI Testing, AI Governance and Trust, and Augmented Test Automation. Together, the community addressed essential topics such as ethics, transparency, and responsibility, recognizing that the world does not just need smarter testing, but testing that protects what matters.

Swiss Testing Day 2026 once again brought together a bold and engaged community, contributing to the evolving quality blueprint for tomorrow, because if we don’t test AI, AI will test us.

Our Latest Stories

If you step into a modern QA team today, you might not immediately see the change. People still review requirements, analyse risks, discuss defects. But look a little closer and something subtle is happening: AI is running alongside them, suggesting test ideas, rewriting brittle selectors, clustering logs, offering insights before anyone even asks.
In conversations about AI governance, the terms often sound big and abstract: fairness, transparency, accountability, robustness. But inside real projects, the work is far more grounded.
At the 2026 Swiss Testing Day sessions, a theme emerges again and again: modern QA must stretch beyond models, metrics, and pipelines. Testers increasingly find themselves in conversations about responsibility, inclusion, and trust. It is no longer enough to validate that a model works - we need to understand for whom it works, and for whom it doesn’t.
